Interesting surprise. This story shows Ian in a more positive aspect than all the previous ones. Not that he is a good vampire but he isn't a bad one either. He is dependable and full of humor (regardless of the timing). Still likes to shagg anything in a skirt and doesn't really care what methods he uses in achieving his goals. All in all, he is a family member (from human and vampire line to Bones) and that is something you can't choose.
I would like a bit more development, a bit longer conversations and more pages to it. Nonetheless, it is an amusing short story.
